Get to know me

I am Zsuzsa Káplán, and after my international economics and marketing degree and experience, I plunged into the mysteries of the interior design profession, having designed our own house and project-managed several condominium constructions in both the eastern and western parts of the country.

The construction side is close to me, as the construction industry has been present in my life since childhood thanks to my parents’ construction business. In addition to interior design, I coordinate real estate development and renovation projects. I work with designers and contractors from different fields every day, which requires close cooperation and coordination. This is especially important when designing a new home or renovating it, as a plan must be feasible.

I have lived in England, Germany and Switzerland for several years, and I am grateful for the many experiences and knowledge that have shaped my perspective. My family and I found our home in Üröm, but as a native of Nyíregyháza, I also travel a lot to the eastern region of the country and Debrecen through my work.

My interior design studies at Stílusház and the experiences I have gained since then have highlighted how diverse a profession interior design is. It requires a complex knowledge that includes knowledge of spatial ergonomics, knowledge of colors, styles and use of materials, mechanical, electrical and architectural knowledge, and not least the latest trends.

I love modern and contemporary style, harmonious, well-composed spaces, timelessness and the use of quality materials, creating a warm home in which eye-catching, characterful elements also appear.

Interior design for me is not just about choosing furniture and decorations, but about creating an environment that perfectly fits your lifestyle and personality. When it comes to my assignments, I keep in mind the impact the built environment has on us, the lights, colors, materials and objects.
